As early as the 1980s, REHAU was involved in the process of switching from metal bumpers to the now indispensable thermoplastic systems. During that period, REHAU successfully introduced a thermoplastic fender for the luxury-class segment and became the first supplier to offer volume production of a thermoplastic fender painted the same color as the vehicle.Today, REHAU offers polymer solutions for our customers' exterior automotive requirements.
